Sarwam ("we," "our," "us"), operated by Godigicom Technologies Private Limited, is
committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share,
and protect your information when you use our Sarwam Delivery Partner mobile application and related
services.
By using Sarwam Delivery Partner, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not
agree, please refrain from using the application.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Location Data (Primary)
We collect precise and approximate location data from your device including:
- Precise GPS location (latitude and longitude) — via
ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION
- Approximate network-based location — via
ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION
- Background location while app is minimized — via
ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION
When we collect location:
- When you are online and available to receive delivery orders
- During an active delivery from pickup point to drop-off point
- To automatically detect your arrival at restaurant and customer locations
Why we collect location:
- To assign delivery orders to the nearest available partner
- To provide turn-by-turn navigation to pickup and drop-off
- To automatically confirm arrival at restaurant and customer location
- To calculate accurate earnings based on distance covered
- To share real-time delivery progress with customers and restaurants
- To resolve disputes related to delivery routes or timings
Background Location specifically:
We access your location in the background only when you have an active delivery in progress.
Background location tracking starts when you accept an order and stops automatically when the order is
marked as Delivered or Cancelled. We do not track your location when you are offline or not on an active
delivery.
You will be shown a clear disclosure explaining background location usage before the system
permission prompt appears. You can revoke location access at any time via Settings → Apps → Sarwam Delivery
Partner → Permissions. Note that revoking location access will prevent you from receiving delivery orders.
1.2 Personal Information
- Full name — for account registration and identity verification
- Phone number — for account verification, OTP login, and order updates
- Email address — for account registration and communication
- Date of birth — to verify minimum age requirement (18+)
- Profile photo — displayed to restaurants and customers during delivery
- Current address — for zone and area assignment
1.3 Identity & Verification Documents
- Aadhaar card (front and back) — for identity verification only
- Driving license — for eligibility verification
- Vehicle Registration Certificate (RC) — for vehicle verification
- Vehicle Insurance document — for compliance verification
- PAN card — for tax and TDS purposes
1.4 Financial Information
- Bank account number and IFSC code — for earnings payout
- UPI ID — for instant withdrawal
- Earnings and transaction history — for payout records and tax documents
1.5 Device Information
- Device model and operating system version
- App version
- Unique device identifier — for fraud prevention and session management
- Battery level — to warn about low battery during active deliveries
1.6 Usage Data
- Order history and delivery records
- Acceptance rate, completion rate, and performance metrics
- App usage patterns and feature interactions
- Crash reports and error logs for app improvement

3. Data Storage & Security
- Your personal data is stored in encrypted databases hosted on secure servers provided by Vercel and
Supabase
- All transmissions between your device and our servers are protected using HTTPS/TLS encryption
- Location data from completed deliveries is retained for 90 days for dispute resolution purposes, after
which it is deleted
- Documents uploaded for verification are stored in encrypted storage with access limited to authorized
verification personnel only
- Access to personal data is strictly limited to authorized personnel who require it for business purposes
- We regularly review and update our security measures to protect your data
4. Data Sharing & Disclosure
We share your information only as necessary:
- Customers — We share your first name and real-time location during active deliveries so
customers can track their order. Your full phone number is never shared directly — all calls are routed
through a masked number system
- Restaurants — We share your name and estimated arrival time for order pickup
- Logistics & Platform Partners — To facilitate order assignment and delivery operations
- Payment Service Providers — Bank/UPI details are shared with our payment partner solely
to process earnings payouts
- Legal Authorities — When required by law, court order, or government regulation
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for advertising
or marketing purposes.
5. Location Permission Details
Our app requests the following Android location permissions:
ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION — Precise GPS location for accurate navigation and arrival detection
ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION — Approximate location for zone-based order assignment
ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION — Location access when the app is minimized, used exclusively
during active deliveries to track delivery progress
A prominent disclosure is shown to you before any location permission is requested, clearly explaining what
data is collected and why. You can withdraw location permission at any time in your device Settings, but
this will prevent you from receiving or completing delivery orders.
6. User Rights
Depending on your location, you have the following rights:
- Access — Request details of the information we hold about you
- Rectification — Request corrections to inaccurate or incomplete information
- Deletion — Request deletion of your account and personal data (subject to legal
retention requirements)
- Data Portability — Request a copy of your personal data in a structured format
- Withdraw Consent — Withdraw your consent to data processing where applicable

7. Children's Privacy
Sarwam Delivery Partner is intended for users 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect personal
information from individuals under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, contact us
immediately to request deletion.
8. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
- We use session cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in and improve your experience
- We do not use cookies for targeted advertising without your explicit consent
09. Data Retention
- Personal information is retained only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this
policy
- Location data from completed deliveries: 90 days
- Verification documents: duration of partnership + 2 years for legal compliance
- Financial transaction records: 7 years as required by Indian tax law
- Account data after deletion request: removed within 30 days
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you by updating the "Last Updated" date and,
where significant changes are made, by sending an in-app notification or email.
